Our office is on Holly Springs Road, just east of Holly Ridge Middle School (opposite side of the street). There is a sign by the road that reads: Holly Springs Professional Center. There are 2 brick buildings connected to each other, and our building is the one closest to the street (1100 should be visible on the building). There are stairs in between the buildings along with an elevator. We are on the 2nd floor, suite 203, across the hall from UNC Women's Health. .
Please schedule a new patient appointment so we can have our "establish care" visit and get to know you better and get things rolling. If you have signed up during the pre-enrollment period, then you will have to wait closer to our launch date of 11/4/24 in order for the schedule to become available. Come prepared to discuss important aspects of your medical history including family history, prior surgeries, current medications, current and past significant health issues, and other important items you want to discuss. Also, set up access to your patient portal.
You can easily schedule other appointments in the future (in person and virtual) through your patient portal or by following one of the following links. Many simple and straight forward things can be completed through texting, but if you know you should be seen as part of a formal visit, then go ahead and self schedule at your convenience.
For basic questions or concerns (simple questions or concerns, follow up comments about a recent visit, refills, etc) text directly with Dr. Bartkoski. The most efficient way to do this is through the apple or android app Spruce. Please download the app and make an account. After the clinic launch date, a formal patient-doctor relationship can begin, so please hold off on sending messages until the clinic opens (and preferably until your first establish care visit). Directions on using Spruce (including the direct contact number to Dr. Bartkoski) will be available closer to the clinic launch date. Communication through Spruce will be saved to your electronic medical chart and is HIPAA compliant. Please give up to 24 hours for a response, though usually you'll hear something back sooner. For simple things that might not need a true scheduled visit, you can always try this first. If you think there's a good chance a visit may be required, just go ahead and schedule that instead. Please send messages in the evening, overnight, and on weekends only when truly necessary and keep things during normal business hours as much as possible. If you need something truly urgently, text AND call (leave a voicemail if there is no answer).
If something is more urgent and you need a faster response, send a text AND call the unique number for Dr. Bartkoski directly (provided closer to the launch date) and leave a voicemail and we'll get back with you faster. Please also remember to send a text as well. Please reserve this only for true urgent needs that actually require the help of a physician in the moment. There is no nurse triage line so your call will go to Dr. Bartkoski directly, even at 2 am, so please be respectful with this power!
If you have a true emergency, please go straight to the emergency department and notify our office after you have been discharged. Examples of emergencies include (but not limited to):
The most efficient way to handle refills is by trying to be proactive and prevent the need for them in the first place by taking care of them during appointments and planning ahead. Otherwise, you can send a request through a text when needed, but please try and request these during regular office hours.
We have partnered with Labcorp for our lab needs. The closet location is inside of Walgreens, less than a mile from our office at 301 N Main St. After labs are ordered electronically during your appointment (or after discussion through other communication like via text or email), you can either schedule a lab appt or you can walk-in during their normal business hours. You can choose to give your insurance information to LabCorp and have those processed through insurance (in which case you're responsible for paying LabCorp whatever insurance may not cover), or you can take advantage of our amazing cash discounts. In this case, your saved payment method will be charged the amount of the labs (wholesale price with absolutely no mark up) at the time the labs are ordered, and then LabCorp will bill our office later. See examples of prices here.
To see other Labcorp locations or to book your lab appointment online, check out LabCorp here.
When our office first opens, Dr. Bartkoski will be the only employee and there will not be a medical assistant, nurse, or other staff member to serve as a chaperone for female sensitive exams and procedures (eg, breast, pelvic, skin check in sensitive areas, EKG, etc). So, a chaperone of some other sort will be required, so please plan accordingly and bring a significant other, friend, etc.
We believe we offer so many advantages compared to the normal primary care office, but our model is still somewhat new and we need your help to spread the news! Give us a review on Google, follow/comment on our social media platforms, and help by word of mouth! We especially love when our patients refer others to our office!
